Main tasks
As a dispatcher, you will have to ensure, from planning to coordinating collections and deliveries, effective collaboration not only with subcontracted and warehouse staff, but also with customers, while respecting constraints and requirements (cost, flow optimization, customer satisfaction, etc.) Your tasks will include :

Planning and dispatching pickups and deliveries

Inventory management

Coordinating relationships between the client, supplier, and driver

Optimizing and synchronizing transportation operations

Resolving issues encountered

Complying with costs and striving for maximum optimization

Administrative management (reports, invoicing, etc.)

Knowledge of transportation regulations

Organizing driver schedules and travel

Transmitting directives to drivers (instructions, documents, etc.)

Communicating with customers by phone and email
Profile

Organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines

Data analysis and informed decision-making skills

Knowledge of logistics and supply chains

Proficiency with IT tools and ability to use planning and tracking software

Good geographical knowledge of Magog and its surroundings

Requirements

High school diploma
-
French
-
Functional English, as the dispatcher will sometimes have to communicate with English-speaking personnel (drivers, customers, etc.)

Computer skills are required, as we work with several different systems

Geographical knowledge is also required to effectively plan and coordinate transportation
